Thank you for allowing Security Brokerz the opportunity to offer our maintenance services to you.Β Please find the below breakdown of services offered in general.Β Should there be any additional services you would require that is not reflected in this document, please make contact with the representative in order to amend the current offering. The below breakdown is based on 1 visit per month and includes all of the maintenance categories.
- Electric Fence
- Visual Inspection β The inspection includes the fence strands as well as the energizers and keypads, during the inspection focus is placed on the condition of all connections to the energizer, keypad/s and fence strands looking for dry contacts, rust, loose connections, broken insulators, faulty loops, loose ferrules, gate contacts etc.
- Standby Battery Test β The standby battery on each of the installed energizers is tested with and without load; this includes any additional standalone batteries installed on the property.
- Voltage Test β Two tests per individual zone is conducted to monitor the efficiency of the fence performance. The test will also identify faulty areas through considerable voltage drops, should the fault be minor in nature it would be repaired immediately by the maintenance technician, any faulty devices or strands would need to be furnished with a quotation first.
- Trigger & Signal Tests β The fence strands are tested twice per zone to ensure communication with the energizer on site; in cases where the fence is connected to a radio transmitter signals to the central station will also be tested and recorded.
- Strand Tensioning β An inspection on the tensioning of each strand will be conducted and in cases where fence tensioners are installed, manually tensioned to the correct setting.
- Gate Motors & Boom Gates
- Visual Inspection β The inspection includes the general condition of the physical motor unit as well as the operation of the gate including racks and swing gate arms. Gate beams and receivers are also inspected for dry and/or loose contacts; this includes standalone units as well as loop sensors.
- Reprogramming β Additional remotes and or/replacement remotes are programmed and tested on site.
- Standby Battery Test β The standby battery on each of the installed gate motors is tested with and without load; this includes any standalone batteries installed on the property.
- Intercom & GSM Systems
- Visual Inspection β The inspection includes the general condition of the physical unit as well as its operation; this includes any secondary equipment such as handsets, keypads & interface modules. Signs of tampering are also inspected for and will be reported immediately for the clientβs attention.
- Reprogramming β Additional remotes and or codes, or/replacement remotes are programmed and tested on site.
- Standby Battery Test β The standby battery on each of the installed unit is tested with and without load, providing that the unit has a built in standby battery; this includes any standalone batteries installed on the property.
- Analogue CCTV Systems (Standalone & Rack Mounted)
- Visual Inspection β The inspection is focused on the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and its operation, settings are adjusted on the DVR in order to have the best possible frame rate (fps β frames per second) for viewing and recording of images. Back-ups of the captured equipment can be made by the technician but would involve additional cost for the required storage hardware & maintenance thereof.
- Individual Camera Inspections β Each installed camera is inspected focusing on the lenses, camera direction, image focus, signs of tampering, wiring connections, mounting brackets etc. The lenses will also be cleaned with every visit to ensure clear images as far as possible.
- Standby Battery Test β The standby battery on each of the installed unit is tested with and without load, providing that the unit has a built in standby battery; this includes any standalone batteries installed on the property and includes all power supplies, lightning protectors etc.
- Voltage Tests β Each unit individual power supply is tested and adjusted to reduce the risk of lightning/surge damage.
- IP CCTV Systems (Hardwired & Wireless)
- Visual Inspection β The inspection is focused on the controlling desktop/server and its operation, settings are adjusted to have the best possible frame rate (fps β frames per second) for viewing and recording of images. Alarm triggers are also tested on each of the camera units to ensure proper operation.
- Alignment Inspection β In cases where images are transmitted through a wireless network access points will be aligned and programmed to provide the best possible connection between the devices.
- Individual Camera Inspections β Each installed camera is inspected focusing on the lenses, camera direction, image focus, signs of tampering, wiring connections, mounting brackets etc. The lenses will also be cleaned with every visit to ensure clear images as far as possible.
- Standby Battery Test β The standby battery on each of the installed unit is tested with and without load, providing that the unit has a built in standby battery; this includes any standalone batteries installed on the property and includes all power supplies, lightning protectors etc.
- Voltage Tests β Each unit individual power supply is tested and adjusted to reduce the risk of lightning/surge damage (only in units with separate adjustable power supplies)
- Software Maintenance β The software is cleaned of unnecessary files and may be defragmented depending on the system requirement.
- Biometric Systems
- Visual Inspection β The installed units are inspected for signs of tamper and or willful damage with the client immediately being informed. The inspection includes inspections on the general operation, wiring and power supply as well as secondary equipment linked to the device such as door closers, maglocks and striker or barrel locks.
- Information Update β Should it be required information will be updated on the system to include new records as well as removal of old records.
- Lens Cleaning β Each of the lenses will be cleaned to ensure proper operation avoiding inaccurate readings as far as possible.
At all times on completion of any maintenance visit a detailed report is submitted to the client and/or representative with recommendations where applicable based on the findings of that specific visit.
